Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all rubbish removal and related services provided by Lucas Rubbish Removal Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the customer (“you”, “your”).
By booking or using our services, you agree to the following:

1. Services Provided

We provide rubbish and waste removal, collection, and disposal services.
We reserve the right to refuse collection of items we deem hazardous, illegal, or unsuitable for removal.
All services will be carried out with reasonable care and in accordance with waste disposal regulations.

2. Booking and Payment

Bookings can be made via phone, email, or our website.
Quotes provided are estimates based on the information you provide. Final costs may vary depending on the actual load, weight, or type of waste collected.
Payment is due in full upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled collection will not incur a charge.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
We reserve the right to reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. vehicle breakdown, adverse weather).

4. Customer Responsibilities

You must ensure our team has safe and reasonable access to the waste for collection.
You confirm that the waste to be removed belongs to you or that you have the authority to dispose of it.
You agree not to include hazardous or prohibited materials (such as asbestos, chemicals, fuel, clinical waste, etc.) unless agreed in advance.

5. Liability

We will handle collections with care, but we are not liable for any damage to property caused by items being moved through difficult access points (e.g. narrow hallways, stairs).
We are not liable for items mistakenly included in the rubbish.
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the price paid for the service.

6. Waste Disposal

All waste collected will be disposed of legally and responsibly in licensed facilities.
We aim to recycle as much waste as possible in line with environmental standards.

7. Complaints

Any complaints must be reported to us within 48 hours of the service.
We will make reasonable efforts to resolve complaints quickly and fairly.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Amendments

Lucas Rubbish Removal Ltd reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time.
The most recent version will always be available on request.
